Programs Manager (HR)

In order to keep up with the growing complexity of the region, we want to professionalize the way we run and track projects and programs within the European HR organization. Therefore, we are looking for Programs Manager (HR) to take the lead in this transition. This newly created role calls for a keen and ambitious individual who will provide support by coordinating and administering the development, production and ongoing progress of projects and doesn’t shy away from associated administration such as booking management meetings, taking minutes, disseminating and monitoring actions. The position will be based in Yerevan, Armenia.

Job Responsibilities
-Create a dashboard to keep oversight of all running, planned and anticipated programs and underlying projects that are led by HR professionals within the European HR organization.
-Spark a culture of project-based working and accountability. From time to time train HR colleagues on increasing their project management skills and competencies, helping them to be successful in the projects they lead and therefore improve effectiveness of our overall program delivery ambitions.
-Recommend tools, techniques and KPI’s that allow program and project administration and delivery model to run like a well-oiled machine.
-Coordinate, track and report on program/project progress (time/budget/scope/responsibilities of different stakeholders).
-Build positive relations with all colleagues that lead projects in the European HR organization to stay informed on progress against plan.
-Help project leads to frequently report out to key stakeholders on the project’s overall progress in a professional and structured way by creating reports, setting up meetings, communication, etc.
-Help project leads to manage conflicting interests, to enable delivery of project results within required time frame.
-Go-to person for the HR colleagues when it comes to project management and status updates on respective projects and programs.
-Create management presentations, summaries and helping materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of the projects and programs.
-Support the European HR Leadership Team when defining strategic mid- and long-term programs and underlying projects.
-Review business case documentation for new projects: feasibility assessment, acceptability and suitability analysis prior to project intake.
-As part of your role you will also take the lead in specific projects yourself, of which the return to office strategy around covid-19 and site/space allocation for growth, are 2 examples.
-You report to one of the European Regional HR Leads.

Required Qualifications
-At least a BSc/BA level degree and requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience. HR experience is a plus but not strictly needed as the content matter experts are in the teams.
-Knowledge and experience in program and project management, methodologies and techniques is a must, so that you can put structure in place and train others. Preferably certified in Prince 2, PMP or similar.
-Self-propelling, strong planning organizational skills and a critical mindset who enjoys coordinating with various teams and stakeholders. You switch easily between operational, tactical and strategic level.
-Independently solve a wide range of issues. Apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine tasks but also tackle more complex issues.
-Natural leader, hands-on, flexible and pragmatic.
-Able to build productive working relationships in infrastructure teams.
-Team player, intuitive, self-motivating, detail-oriented and highly organized.
-Working well independently, prioritizing and exercising sound judgement are critical skills required.
-Excellent written and verbal communication (English), organizational and inter-personal skills. Good listener.
-Able to multi-task and maintain professionalism while working with a variety of confidential information.
-Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint.
