Job responsibilities

• Read technical drawings in order to determine appropriate tooling and procedures required to execute the specified design.
• Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines correctly.
• Perform quality assurance tests and simulations of programs.
• Translates production instructions into a Computer Automated Manufacturing program.
• Makes calculations for programming, including where materials should be cut or machined.
• Simplifies tooling and set-up tasks to minimize time and maximize efficiency for the client.

Required qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English at an intermediate to advanced level
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and closely follow directions.
• Must have a positive and professional attitude.
