Astromaps is seeking a technically minded individual with extensive mechanical design knowledge to join our team. The individual will be responsible for supporting the new product development. The title will be dependent on experience. This position will encompass the design, development, documentation, and release of new products to production.
Responsibilities
Create 3D models and modify detailed engineering drawings and documentation from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
.Build, test, evaluate, and troubleshoot product designs.
.Exercise independent judgment in designing components and motor products.
.Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all work performed.
.Ensure all work complies with corporate standards.
.Coordinate product design to Product, Manufacturing, and Quality Departments at other global facilities during prototype and initial production builds.
.Communicate procedures and changes by making recommendations, proposals, and presentations with internal and external customers and suppliers.
.Complete engineering change requests
